Dunblane Primary School was opened in 1963 as a Junior Secondary. In 1974 Dunblane High School was opened and the school became known as Dunblane Primary School. The school was fully refurbished in 1997 and at present has a role of 539 which includes 17 primary classes, 2 nursery classes and a Language and Communication Facility.

There are three members in our Senior Management Team. The Headteacher is Joy Macfarlane who has been in her position for almost 9 years. There are two Depute Headteachers. Miss Luisa Ciccu who has taught in the school for many years but has been Depute Headteacher for just over a year. We have recently welcolmed our second Depute Headteacher, Mrs Gail MacLean, who joined us in November.
