Language and Communication Facility

This is our autism provision. If you come to visit us you will meet Mrs Monaghan who is the principal teacher, Mrs Taylor, our teacher and lots of support for learning Assistants who are here some of the time. They are Mrs Fisher, Mrs Douglas, Mrs MacLaren, Mrs Liddle and Mrs Wilson. Mrs Howitt and Mrs Waugh help us sometimes too. Don’t worry we are not all here at the same time!  

We like a quiet place to work and learn about communicating and understanding language. We love being over in our classes too but not all the time. We have lots of fun and our friends from the school love to come over and join in our activities too. Other people come in sometimes to help us with our learning. Chantelle Dobson is our speech and language therapist. Karen Whitehead is our occupational therapist. Some of us go to music therapy with Val Fowler.
